Company History:
Thai Acids Industrial Co., Ltd. (TAI) was established in June 1959 with a capital investment of 12 million baht. In the year 2006, it has increased to 84 million baht with the main objective of producing and distributing Sulphuric Acid. It is located at 29 km Sukhumvit Road with an area of 8 acres (20 rai). Due to the limited in space, there was a consensus among shareholders that an expansion in the production capacity is essential for the company's growth. With this constrain, an intension of a new factory adopting high technology that not only save energy but is environmentally friendly was established.
Additionally, Shareholders of TAI bought a piece of land for 20 acres (50 rai) at Rayong for constructing a new factory under a name of Suntai Chemicals Co., Ltd. aiming to produce Sulphuric Acid (capacity of 200 metric ton per day, value of approximately 200 million baht) and other chemicals. The company is established with a capital investment of 25 million baht. This new factory is now completed and is located approximately 10 kilometers away from MAP TAPHUT INDUSTRIAL ESTATE.
Partners:
Shareholders of TAI had formed an oversea partnership with PT. Indonesia Acids Industry Limited since 1972. At present, the company has Sulphuric Acid production capacity of 200 metric ton per day and is certified with ISO 9001:2000.
บจก.ซันไท เคมิคอลส์ ตั้งอยู่บนเนื้อที่กว่า 50 ไร่ ที่จ.ระยอง วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการผลิตกรดกำมะถัน(ปริมาณการผลิต 200 เมตริกตัน/วัน) เพื่อกลุ่มลูกค้าโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมและกลุ่มเกษตรกรสวนยาง , สารส้ม (ปริมาณการผลิต 15 ตัน/วัน) เพื่อกลุ่มลูกค้าโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม,กลุ่มผลิตน้ำประปา และสารเคมีอื่นๆ บริษัทฯได้จัดตั้งขึ้นด้วยเงินลงทุน 57 ล้านบาท และโรงงานแห่งใหม่นี้เสร็จสมบูรณ์แล้ว ตั้งอยู่ที่ อ.นิคมพัฒนา จ.ระยอง
